“The Hydrogen Game – In Action” showcases the practical application of The Hydrogen Game — an interactive educational tool designed to support understanding of the hydrogen value chain and the key factors involved in planning clean hydrogen solutions.
The video demonstrates how, through structured exercises and teamwork, participants build a shared framework for analysis and decision-making. During the session, they:
- map the energy chain from source to end use;
- develop concepts for specific scenarios (e.g., transport, industry, heating);
- assess the actual CO₂ intensity along the chain and discuss the impact of technology and energy source choices.
The Hydrogen Game was invented by Pernille Gøtz from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) as part of the Green Skills for Hydrogen project, co-funded by the European Union.
The video “The Hydrogen Game – In Action” was produced by the H2START Centre of Excellence in Clean Hydrogen Technologies, in synergy with the projects Green Skills for Hydrogen and European Hydrogen Academy (HyAcademy).
