How does the brain process visual information? Why did Gregor Mendel’s laws remain misunderstood for nearly 40 years? And how can tools such as NotebookLM help create clearer scientific presentations?
As part of the H2START project, Professor Ani Zlateva from the Faculty of Education at Trakia University delivered the masterclass “The Visual Language of Knowledge”. The lecture focused on one of the main challenges facing researchers today: how to present complex scientific data, including information on green hydrogen, electrolysis and the energy transition, in a clear, accurate and engaging way.

The lecture’s central message is that artificial intelligence should support, rather than replace, human thinking. It can save time when processing information, but scientific accuracy, ethical judgement and an understanding of the audience remain the researcher’s responsibility.
