H2START hosted a workshop on the “Hydrogen Game”

The H2START project and the Bulgarian Association for Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and Energy Storage (BGH2A) hosted a workshop on the “Hydrogen Game”. It was a pleasure to welcome the creator of the game, Pernille Gøtz from the Technical University of Denmark.

As moderator and facilitator, Pernille demonstrated how the “Hydrogen Game” engages both hydrogen experts and those who are encountering terms like “electrolyzer” or “fuel cell” for the first time. The interactive format quickly helps participants with different backgrounds understand the hydrogen value chain – from different energy sources and production methods to transport and end-use applications.

Prof. Daria Vladikova presented the H2START project, highlighting its strategic location in Stara Zagora and the importance of capacity building for the developing hydrogen economy.

The event highlighted the power of synergy between European projects such as Green Skills for Hydrogen, H2START and H2Academy, all of which work to advance the knowledge and skills that the industry needs for the future.

As part of the H2START project, a video tutorial and demonstration of the “Hydrogen Game” were recorded and will soon be available on the project’s YouTube channel.
