H2START at Top Jobs: Educational Programs and Certified Training as a Key to the Hydrogen Transition

The H2START project and the opportunities it offers for regional development were presented at the regional career forum “Top Jobs”, held from September 11 to 13 at the Zachary Knyazheski Library in Stara Zagora. The project was introduced by Professor Ani Zlateva during the thematic panel “Fostering Entrepreneurship and Skills for Regional Transformation.”

During the forum, the Rector of Trakia University, Prof. Dr. Miroslav Karabaliev, emphasized that the newly funded Center of Excellence in Hydrogen Technologies (H2START) will support companies aiming to work and grow in the hydrogen sector.

As part of the H2START project, a Training and Reskilling Center in Hydrogen Technologies is being established. Educational programs and certified training courses are already underway. The creation of the training center is supported by the renowned Polytechnic University of Turin. At the same time, a network of partnerships is being developed with European universities, businesses, and initiatives such as GreenSkills4H2 and the Hydrogen Academy.

The forum attracted significant attention both in-person and online. It was organized in partnership with the Municipality of Stara Zagora and featured dozens of speakers and exhibitors in its program.

The H2START project is funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe Programme (Project No. 101136692).
